So many of our favorite childhood memories are tied to farms, but your kids might not get the chance to make their own unless you take them there yourself. If you’re in South West Ohio, and looking for a new place to explore stop by Learning Tree Farm. It’s a great place for kids AND adults to visit and learn more about farm life.

Learning Tree Farm is a family-friendly farm. Not only are there a variety of animals that you can walk right up to and pet, but you can also learn about running a farm, and even how to harvest fruits and vegetables. If you are looking for an educational experience or just some fresh air, this is the place to be!
While walking the trails around the farm visitors can explore the different types of trees and insects found on the property. There are educational signs throughout the property, making this a great place for field trips, and perfect for homeschool outings.
After exploring the farm and surrounding fields you can stop by the play area. Here the kids can climb on a tractor, practice their balance on a tight rope and even have fun on a seesaw, all while the adults take a break.
We visited on a Friday afternoon and there were no big crowds. However the farm is open daily with different activities each month depending on the season, so check their website before planning out your trip.
Learning Tree Farm is a great place for a family adventure in Southern Ohio
It’s always nice to visit places where kids can run around, play, and be free-range. Furthermore, the farm is really close to Dayton, which means we didn’t have to drive very far. The whole experience was really good and we were all glad that we went!
