It’s Troy, but wow, it’s tasty! The Boat House was clean and friendly, and the food was well-made and delicious. It’s a neat place right on the water, and we will definitely go back in the summer to enjoy it. So if you’re north of Dayton, check it out! We were in the area for the drive-through Christmas lights in the park. They have a varied menu, and we don’t do seafood, so that was appreciative. The chimichurri braised short rib tacos were terrific. The wife’s steak was cooked perfectly. The kids enjoyed their pasta and grilled chicken.
The dessert was a vanilla creme brulee and a coffee chocolate with buttercream icing.
The staff was perfect with service, and the owner even came out after the meal to thank us for trying the place.
Also, the wife had a Smores cocktail, which she said was delicious.
